Delete Your Account

You can ask us to permanently delete your OgaLandlord account and the personal data tied to it. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens to your information.

How to request deletion

Open the OgaLandlord app and go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, then confirm the request.

Or email us from the address linked to your account at support@ogalandlord.ng with the subject "Delete my account".

We verify the request belongs to you and remove your account, usually within 30 days.

What happens to your data

Deleted

Profile, name and contact details
Login credentials and saved devices
Property listings and saved searches
In-app messages and chat history
Payment authorisations and saved mandates
Notification and marketing preferences

Retained

Transaction and rent payment records, where required by law and tax rules
Records needed to resolve disputes or enforce signed rental agreements
Data we must keep to prevent fraud or meet legal obligations

Retained records are kept only for as long as the law requires, then deleted. They are not used for any other purpose.

Before you delete

Active rentals, pending payments, or refundable caution fees should be settled before deletion. Once your account is deleted, this action cannot be undone and you will need to register again to use OgaLandlord.
